Who We Are

The heart of OSIL is a dedicated and valued team of highly qualified scientists and engineers with a wealth of international experience.  From our origins in IAPSO Standard Seawater, through instrument calibration and into cutting edge monitoring solutions, in an ever changing world, our team are here to help.  We often describe ourselves as small enough to care but big enough to cope when we need to design, develop, manufacture, ship and install a huge multinational project in record time.

Our passion for innovation enables us to deliver and supply the right solutions for the application whether that be a simple batch of dedicated seawater standards or a highly complex offshore deep water buoy system.  With strong customer focus, and continual investment in new manufacturing techniques we guarantee that OSIL is at the forefront of developing technologies.

Meticulous attention to detail, combined with a strong ethical commitment to always do the right thing, has ensured our position as a leading provider of trusted marine solutions globally.

Specialising in instrumented MetOcean data buoy systems, unique single or multi-parameter monitoring platforms, water column sampling equipment and seabed sampling equipment (complete with Launch and Recovery Systems) OSIL offer bespoke designs to customer requirements, implement, install and train, and offer on-going support and instrument calibration for systems worldwide.
